Daylight Saving Time

Please remember Daylight Savings begins on Sunday 7th October 2018. Please take this into consideration for your travel arrangements between Queensland and New South Wales, particularly flights in and out of the Gold Coast airport.

Networking Function (8 October 2018)

Tickets to the Networking Function are included in full registrations only. Tickets include drinks and canapes. You must RSVP if you would like to attend which can be completed on the registration page. Tickets can be purchased via the registration portal for Day Delegates and Guests/Partners.

Early Bird Registration
Early Bird rates are offered to those who register and pay by Friday 24 August 2018. To be eligible for the Early Bird rate payment must be received by this date. After Friday 24 August 2018, all new and outstanding registrations will be transferred to the standard rate.

Concession Registration*
Concession registrations are available for full–time students and unwaged delegates only.

Payments
All accounts must be paid in full 30 days from the invoice date or 10 business days before the conference start date, whichever comes first (unless applying for Early Bird). Early Bird rates are offered to those who register and pay by Friday 24 August 2018.

To be eligible for the Early Bird rate payment must be received by this date. After this date, all new and outstanding registrations will be transferred to the standard rate. The organisers reserve right, without notification, to cancel outstanding accounts any time after 30 days from date of tax invoice being sent.

Refunds and Cancellations
The Conference Committee understand that circumstances can change.  At any point prior to the event you are welcome to contact the Conference Secretariat in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge. A full refund less a $150 service fee will be issued for cancellations received on or before Friday 24 August 2018.

Registration cancellation received between Friday 24 August 2018 and Friday 7 September 2018 will receive a 50% refund on the registration fees.  No refunds will be issued after Friday 14 September 2018. Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.

Accommodation Cancellation and Amendments
All accommodation bookings will be subject to the individual hotel cancellation policy. Please contact the Conference Secretariat for the hotel cancellation policy.

Insurance
It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange their own travel insurance. The Conference does not endorse or have arrangements with any companies.

Disclaimer – The Conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. “The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the Conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term “Force Majeure” means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, natural disasters, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the Conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.”
