Vocational assessments using psychometric testing and assessments for job seekers

Psychometric testing and vocational assessments can be used to help determine a jobseeker’s compatibility with certain vocations.  The range of Vocational Assessment services including Intellectual, Ability, Aptitude, Literacy, Numeracy, Personality, Clinical, Vocational and Neuro-psychological.

Vocational Counsellors look at transferable skills, natural talents (aptitudes), interests and hobbies, practical realities of working, motivation in relation to a return to work and the specific geographical job search location.

Vocational Assessment can assist in assessing a job seeker’s abilities and their best-fit job options in their local labour market area.

Vocational assessment may be helpful when a jobseeker is unsure of what type of work they want to do or lack awareness regarding their strengths and abilities.  Vocational may be useful to determine a persons employability or ability to adapt to different work environments.

A  Vocational assessment assists an individual to make realistic job training and career choices based on their interests, aptitudes and abilities and the realities of the job market.
