The working world is undergoing its most significant (and rapid) transformation since the industrial revolution, and the changing economic, technological and social conditions are demanding new responses from our systems, institutions, and leaders. As 30% Australian youth unemployment and underemployment demonstrates, young people tend to disproportionately bear the brunt of economic crises and transformations. This talk will explore this pressing issue from the lens of youth: looking at both their current interaction with the working world and their perspective on what could be done differently to provide them with pathways to employment.
Join us at the 3rd Annual Australian Long-Term Unemployment Conference this 1 – 2 December 2016 at the Mercure Brisbane. For more information on the 3rd Annual Australian Long-Term Unemployment Conference and to secure your registration visit the conference website today.
