Employment Strategies: case managers perspective on LTU

What are the successful Employment Strategies for the Long Term Unemployed. The Long Term Unemployment conference will provide an ideal opportunity to come together to assess strategies for enabling employment for key groups facing long term unemployment including: Mature Age | Youth | Indigenous | Disability | Regional |

We are interested in hearing from Case Managers on their experience with employment strategies for the long term unemployed.

There will be presentations from youth employment, indigenous employment, mature age placement, local employment coordinators, migrant employment, mental health professional, drug and alcohol experts, social workers and psychologists and employment professionals, who will come together share their experiences.

You may have partnered with others to provide a holistic support and advice for job seekers. You may have delivered employment strategies to the most disadvantaged who face multiple barriers to employment. How have you engaged job seekers? Your strategies for enabling the Long Term Unemployed to gain and retain employment would be of interest to other delegates at this conference. How do you manage your case load? What has been your success with reverse marketing of job seekers to employers? What are your strategies for the disengaged client? How do you keep motivated and manage your stress?
