MESSAGE FROM CHARLOTTE THAARUP-OWEN

I am really looking forward to spending time with you at the 2017 National Employment Solutions Conference on the Gold Coast.

Focussing on inclusivity in businesses today is essential. Data shows that inclusive teams are more productive, resilient and make better decisions. Diversity even impacts the bottom line. So, what does this have to do with Mindfulness?

Being more inclusive requires us to interrupt our biological predisposition to exclude people who are different to us. Being more inclusive requires us to change our automated behaviour.  Mindfulness is about becoming more aware of what is going on for us so we can interrupt autopilot.  I explain more about mindfulness at work in the video below if you would like to hear more.
